Sharing videos through Zoom

There are two ways to share videos via Zoom. The first option is to share a video shown on your screen or in a browser such as a YouTube video. When you share your screen or window, you must click share sound in the bottom left-hand corner of the Zoom share window. There is also a button labeled “Optimize for video clip” which I would also suggest enabling. If you are playing music for your students, you would just need to click the “Enable Sound” option. If you frequently show videos or want the flexibility to play a video I suggest always having both options selected.

Under the advanced options, you can also share a video file through Zoom. It automatically selects both boxes. I have not tried this way to share a video. We will try it and provide an updated explanation later.
