One of my privileges is being on the board of Mid-America Association for Computers in Education, also
known as MACE.  The goal of this organization is to support the use of technology within education.  This year the organization is offering 4 grants of $500 each to teachers across the state.  Other details of the grant are shown below.  Please take a little time to review the rubric found at the linked form.  Let me know if you would like assistance answering any of the questions.

MACE Education Mini-Grant Application

This grant is to be used for teachers to purchase technology to utilize in their classrooms and schools that otherwise would not be available to them.

  1. Four $500 grants will be awarded through MACE for the 2020-2021 school year. Grants will be awarded for anyone teaching in grades K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12.

  2. Anyone who applies for and receives the grant will be expected to:

    1. Provide invoices for purchases made using the $500 awarded to them

    2. Film a short video of you and/or your students using the technology purchased and share it with MACE to be used on our social media and at our conference.

  3. The deadline for grant application submission is March 19.  Winners will be announced by April 2.
